Default What Books Do You Like To Read?

Like the title says, what books do you like to read? Are you into Horror, Romance, Crime or Biographies?

Personally, I love my romance books. I usually read period pieces, were the men are Dukes and the woman are in dire need of help and are saved by those men. Alternatively, I like supernatural romances too, were both characters have strong leading roles and great powers. My favorite authors include Kelley Armstrong, L.K.Hamilton, J.R.Ward, Gena Showalter, Madeline Hunter and Mary Balogh.

Romance Sci-fi

Christine Feehan, Vampire Academy, other good romance books. I also do Historical Fiction and regular sci fi. I also read History books as well, on the medieval ages. To learn more about that time.

I used to love Christine Feehan. I've read about the first 10 books in her Carpathian series, and all the Drake sisters books and a few from the Deadly Game series, plus some of her stand alone books. I just thing some of her work now is a but repetitive.

I guess I mostly get stuck in the Young Adult category when buying books. I'm also very picky about what I read and I guess Young Adult books suits my personality as well. Two of my most recent books do circle around vampires and such, so they're probably a mixture of Supernatural/Young Adult if there is such a thing.

About the only thing I read nowdays is Christine Feehan's Carpathian series (read every one and fiending for the next one... almost September!) I will say the series seemed to start to drag but in the last several she has advanced the underlying storyline and the last one added werewolves, who are very interesting! But if it has vampires in it and is a romance, I will consider reading it. But it has to be a cheesy, steamy sex ridden romance!

Other than that all I read are books on organization, decorating, feng shui and cookbooks. (If it would be seen on HGTV or Food Network I'd read it)

Try the Black Dagger series. .. can't name the author at the moment. Good series, though.

Phury and Zadist's stories I think it is... so now I am hunting for the second one, don't want to read them out of order like I did the Carpathian ones =x

I love horror books. My two favorite authors are John Saul and V.C. Andrews. I have read every V.C. Andrews, and there are some John Saul books I am going to read. I also like vampire series. I love the Twlight and the Immortials series.

Yea, the Black Dagger series is good. Its written by J R Ward, if you like her writing style you may also like Gena Showalter. Her books arent vampire books, there more mythical creatures but she is a good writer.

I'll read just about anything once. My fav's have to be Anne Bishop, Gena Showalter, and Andy McDermott. Does anyone have any good new books they'd suggest, other than thriller/horrer?
